Is there a "theory of everything"?

Scientists are trying to develop a theory that in a fairly simple way would describe all the phenomena occurring in our universe. Most promising is the theorystrings , which assumes that we live in a world which consists of 26 dimensions.
Initially it was thought that Einstein's relativity theory , supplemented by the new claim will be sufficient to describe the general phenomena, but the more a man steeped in the structure of atoms, the more appeared of new questions. For comprehensive answers, created an entirely new fieldscience , called quantum mechanics.
Quantum descriptions often do not dovetail with the theory of relativity, so the researchers decided to create a new theory, which would use quantum models and simultaneously meet all the demands of Einstein. So far the best candidate to receive the title of "theory of everything" is the M-theory , which assumes the existence of strings that permeate our universe. They consist of particles called gravitons, responsible for the transfer of gravitational interactions.
