What about the end of the World

Is ongoing research into the Mayan calendar as the end of the World is take to place. Recent studies have found inscriptions in the temple Comalcalco confirm the thesis about the end of the World, expected to 21.12.2012.

But the Mayans viewed time cyclically-something begins, something ends...and many scientist agree now, after deeper study of Mayans culture, that the date 21.12.2012 might have deeper meaning.It probably mean the closure of one of the cycles of time, which can mean, to announce that after this date we can expect something new..like for example begin of new era or the arrival of extraterrestrial gods, in which the Mayan believed.It also can mean nothing special just the end of one cycle ans begins of another..like we have now-1.01 we believe is it begin of new year and 31.12 end of the year...it is kind of cycle-what if Mayan cycle was much longer and that`s why they look more forward for it..

And not only the Mayan, but also for other cultures this date seams to be very important, so the theory about extraterrestrial come back to the Earth somehow can be justify.

Hence, for example all the paintings found in caves in the world, records of the arrival of someone or something found on the stone slabs, old reels...

All the ancient culture believed, that this date announces arrives of someone or something...
