Meteorite Allan Hills 84001 contains alien life

ALH 84 001 (official name: Allan Hills 84 001) is a 1.94 kg heavy meteorite, on 27 December 1984 at the Allan Hills ice field (Victoria Land) and found in Antarctica in 1993 was identified as the SNC meteorites (Mars Meteorite).

In 1996 found David S. McKay and his staff structures in the Martian meteorite ALH 84001, which they interpreted as traces of fossil bacteria. Their arguments for traces of fossil life in ALH 84 001 are:

Structures in electron micrographs, which are interpreted as fossilized bacteria. However, it is argued that these structures could be artifacts of the recording technique used. Moreover, the size of the structures only in the range of several nanometers and thus much smaller than ordinary terrestrial bacteria. Indeed been "nanobacteria" allegedly discovered on Earth, but even this finding is far more controversial.

Karbonateinschlüsse which contain magnetite in a modification, as it is produced by bacteria on Earth. However, it has not ruled out that this magnetite can be produced by nonbiological processes.
