Guglielmo Marconi (born April 25, 1874 in Bologna, † 20 July 1937 in Rome) was an Italian researcher, entrepreneur and pioneer of wireless telecommunications.
The Nobel Prize for Physics, he received together with the German physicist Ferdinand Braun on 10 December, 1909. In 1919 already the first attempts were made by Guglielmo Marconi to receive extraterrestrial radio signals, which however could not be confirmed. A real pioneer.
