The traces include many three-toed footprints, traditionally attributed to theropods Acrocanthosaurus. There are also many tracks that are much larger and more rounded and are from sauropods (or possibly from Pleurocoelus Astrodon). From the Paluxy River footprints can derive meaningful insights about the social behavior of dinosaurs. The site was also known, because some of the footprints were interpreted as coming from people. From the perspective of the Paleo-SETI-environment is the coexistence of dinosaurs and humans particularly the presence of human-like carriers of an original alien culture occupy in ancient times.
